Christos Chiotis

Christos joined recently the Foundation with a background in shipping. Having completed a BSc in Greece at the University of Piraeus, he studied for - and received - an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance at Cass Business School in London in 2009. At Cass, Christos  was awarded a Stelios Scholarship to support his studies, and, in that way, he has experienced first hand Stelios' philanthropic efforts and the work of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation. Upon graduating from Cass, Christos returned to Athens where he joined the Foundation as Greece Co-ordinator, responsible for the "Entrepreneur of the Year in Greece Award" and for promoting the Foundation's activities in Greece.

Christos speaks 3 languages (and enjoys learning a fourth one, currently!), has a passion for books and movies, and prefers to keep his balance and low stress levels by practicing yoga.

As a Stelios Scholar himself, he truly values the work of the Foundation,  is delighted to be a part of the family and is very proud to be helping the Foundation have a positive influence on other people's lives.
