“The Stelios Award for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Greece - 2012 - has been formally launched by easyJet founder, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
For the fifth consecutive year, the serial entrepreneur’s Stelios Philanthropic Foundation (in conjunction with Leshi Ephirimatikotitas enterprise promotion) will be awarding a E50,000 prize to the young entrepreneur (up to 40 years old) who demonstrates exceptional drive, determination and business ability.

easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou is calling for talented disabled entrepreneurs to apply for this year's Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK.
The award, jointly run by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation and Leonard Cheshire Disability, recognises the achievements and unique challenges faced by disabled entrepreneurs. Now in its sixth year, the award offers a £50,000 cash prize to the winner - the largest cash sum of its kind.

Finalists have been selected for the last remaining stage of the Stelios Award for Business Co-operation in Cyprus - 2012. This prestigious €250,000 competition is now in its fourth year under the sponsorship of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, the education-to-entrepreneurship charity headed by easyJet founder, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
The Award, aimed at promoting harmonious business partnerships between the island's Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot entrepreneurs, attracted close to 30 applications by the deadline for entry on August 31. The final stage involves in-depth assessment of the entrepreneurial partnerships by Stelios and his team before five winning partnerships are presented with a €50,000 cheque by Sir Stelios at a ceremony at the newly-minted Stelios House in Limassol on October 15. Teams must consist of at least one Greek-Cypriot and one Turkish-Cypriot entrepreneur working together for the benefit of the whole island.
