My name is Guy and I have German and Swiss nationalities.  I graduated Cass in 2008 after completing MBA.

Prior to my MBA I worked for five years as a contract and corporate lawyer and attorney in Berne (Switzerland).

I wanted to broaden my skills and change the scope of my activity. Law is such an important aspect in business that it must be considered in every strategic or financial action. I wanted to know about both, law and business, in order to be able to start my own business.

Later on I would like to become an advisor/non-executive director for small/start-up companies, combining my legal, business and people skills.

I am realistic enough to understand that I cannot change even one global challenge. However, what I can see as a major problem in my closer environment is increasing egoism. In order to combat that I try to be helpful, supportive and kind with other people as often as possible. By constantly doing that I hope to make other people happy so that they are inspired and do not behave in selfish way.

My MBA year was definitely one of the best years of my life. The lecturers and courses were very inspiring. However, what really made the course a life changing experience was meeting and especially working with 78 extremely bright people from 28 different countries and with so many different (cultural and professional) backgrounds.

The Stelios scholarship allowed me to enjoy that (learning, working and networking) experience even more. For example I could participate in two international electives Dubai and Shanghai. I therefore wanted to thank Sir Stelios once again for this generous support.
