My name is Ozkan and I was born in Turkey and have started an MSc in Investment Management at Cass Business School. I was born in Turkey, moved to in Germany aged 6, then to England aged 8. After sixth form started working at HSBC Bank. After 4 years decided to go to University at London Metropolitan University. Studied Economics and International Business. In my second year at Uni, I also invested in a business with two other partners, called ‘Oceans Fish and Chips’, in February 2009. Eventually sold the business in May 2010. Now doing Msc at Cass.

Interested in the finance industry and would like to work in an investment bank when my studies are finished. Also wished to pursue higher education to develop myself further.

Also by doing an Msc I hope encourage my brothers to go to University too.

I want to work as a financial trader for an investment bank at the end of my studies, possibly as a graduate analyst. I hope to work my way up the career ladder gaining experience. Then 5-10 years later I hope to work in a hedge fund or a private equity firm.

I am considering setting up a society at University that contributes various charities, possible children’s charities and overseas charities.

Also I hope to also start up an education scholarship in the future, helping students who need financial assistance.

A question for Stelios, "What is your thought process when you come across an overwhelming challenge, be it professionally or personally? How do you deal with it? If possible give an example"  One question I would ask Stelios is if I could be his apprentice.
