My name is Rosa and I have lived and studied in England since I was born and I am of Sri-Lankan ethnicity.
I have an interest in mathematics, and wished to combine it with economics. I chose the LSE because it has a highly renowned economics department, and I wanted to study in an environment that would continue to challenge me.
After graduating, I would like to pursue further studies. After that, I would like to take up a career in business or finance.
My education will give me the means to help those people that genuinely want to further their life, but haven’t had the means to do so. I am particularly thinking about teaching underprivileged children, in particular those that may not have otherwise had the means to attend the schools that they would have liked to attend, simply due to a lack of money to pay for tuition and other expenses related to education.
