My name is Stamatia and I was brought up on the lovely island of Cyprus and completed my secondary school education at the American Academy on a part-scholarship.
I consider myself privileged to be able to attend LSE as it is considered to be the number 1 university in my chosen field of Accounting. I am really enjoying every moment of this incredible experience and don’t take it for granted.
My goal is to be a partner in a well known accounting firm and I look forward to this dream being fulfilled. I also look forward to passing on my knowledge and love of Accounting to others.
Stelios has given me such an amazing opportunity and for that I am deeply grateful. Whenever I am in Cyprus, I am a volunteer at the Mission to Seafarers. In the past I have assisted in organizing what has become an annual event - a coffee morning - to raise money for the Kinkiizi Scholarship Program in Uganda. Once I have graduated I hope to be able to sponsor one of the children in Kinkiizi as a way of paying back to society all that I have been given. Being able to light up someone else's life will be my reward.
I believe nothing is impossible and It has been absolutely amazing getting to be here in London.
I would ask Stelios what is the most important lesson he has learnt in his life and I think he should ask me how far have I come as a person and student since coming to London.
