Awards SummaryThe Stelios Philanthropic Foundation is committed to supporting entrepreneurship with the following annual awards: The Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK - administered in partnership with Leonard Cheshire Disability - rewards those with disabilities who have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and business ability in the face of significant barriers. The 50,000GBP prize is presented at the annual Growing Business Awards in London organized by the CBI and Caspian Publishing Group. The Stelios Award for Business Cooperation in Cyprus promotes island-wide, bi-communal business cooperation between Turkish-Cypriot and Greek-Cypriot entrepreneurs by giving promising ventures the funding boost they need to grow. Up to five awards of 50,000EU each are presented to those teams which best demonstrate bi-cultural teamwork and mutual trust at an annual event in Cyprus organized by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation. The Stelios Award for Young Entrepreneur in Greece is presented to an entrepreneur under 40 years old who has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and business ability in Greece. A 50,000EU prize is awarded annually at a gala award dinner organized by the LESHI Epihirimatikotitas in Athens. The Stelios Award for Entrepreneur of the Year on the Riviera – in conjunction with Riviera Radio's "Ultimate Business Boost" - celebrates the strong entrepreneurial energy and achievement on the Riviera - from San Remo to St. Tropez. Chosen by Stelios and a panel of judges, the winning entrepreneur receives Stelios' 10,000EU Award along with 20,000EU of ad-spend on Riviera Radio at a ceremony in Monaco organized by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation. |
