The OECD hosted its International Transport Forum from 26-29 May, which was based around the topic of “Transport for a Global Economy: Challenges and Opportunities in the Downturn”.  The event brought together ministers and top business leaders from around the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities for transport in the context of current economic conditions.  Stelios was a member of the panel on ‘Transport and the Economic Downturn’, exploring pressing questions such as how the current downturn is affecting transport, the role for transport in effective stimulus packages, and the challenge of how to meet environmental goals.
