The Policy Network, in association with the LSE’s Centre for the Study of Global Governance, on 5 June hosts ‘The Politics of Climate Change’ conference, bringing together leading figures from the worlds of politics, academia and business. The aim of the event is to discuss how the economic crisis could lead to a business revolution in low-carbon industries and what role the state has to play in this process. Stelios will be one of the speakers, alongside Peter Mandelson (UK Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform) and Terry Leahy (CEO of Tesco) in the opening plenary session on ‘incentivising action to build a low carbon economy’. |
