I’m a British born Indian and have lived in London for my entire life. I attended Ilford County High School before attending LSE. I have balanced my educational life with many extra-curicular activities most predominantly my involvement with the local Jain community.

I have had a long standing interest in financial affairs which has been supplemented by my analytical ability. Studying Maths & Economics will allow me to gain a greater appreciation and understanding for both subjects.

I previously held an interest in pursuing a career in the Banking Industry, but after working for LOCOG in my Gap Year, I gained valuable insight into the Financial Sector, specifically in Financial Planning and Consultancy which I look forward to fulfulling upon the completion of my degree.

From my experience with my local Jain Community I have learn’t moral values which are centred around one’s Karma; where good deeds are rewarded and bad deeds are punished. This has lead me to support various charities through volunteering and participating in organised events whilst also setting an example for those around me, whether it be my peer group, colleagues or family.
