My name is Isteaque and I was born in Bangladesh.  I am currently studying a BSc Accounting and Finance at LSE.  I was born in Bangladesh but brought up in Britain, this has allowed me to experience a very distinct childhood where I had to jump many hurdles. I am proud of this upbringing as it has made me realise the importance of a good education, as well as being able to make difficult choices under difficult circumstances. I have made many mistakes in my past but have learnt from them dearly, this will most definitely help me in the future.

LSE is a centre of world class education, and hence a prestigious establishment. It’s a great stepping stone into the business world and I hope to use it to develop my all round skills.

I want to initially complete my degree to the highest of my ability, then I want to be employed by a suitable company that will give me the experience and motivation to become a Management Consultant. When I specialise and understand the work involved I would like to start up my own ventures and control my own businesses.

I hope to be able to run a scheme such as the one Sir Stelios is running for us. He is a great inspiration as I too believe education is the most important stepping stone in life. I’d like to help by personally visiting third world countries and eventually helping finance the construction of schools where there are minimal opportunities.

I would like to ask Steliow what his ambitions are now that he has succeeded in his area of expertise and he should ask me how do I plan to make a difference to the world or environment in a positive way?
