I have chosen it because I feel that meeting every new person is an enriching experience, and working with people is what gives me a real sense of satisfaction. I have always enjoyed teamwork, sharing ideas with others and jointly putting them into practice. Maybe this is the reason why many see me as a good organiser able to motivate people to cooperate and achieve goals. Personnel management and a job in a Human Resources Department appears to me as something I could find fulfilment in.

Many interesting books and particularly a year at the Warsaw School of Economics have deepened my interest in economics so I will be happy to extend my knowledge in this field and also supplement it with knowledge about psychology and personal development.

Thanks to the Stelios Scholarship I can study at LSE which will give me the chance to gain international experience and later work in an international environment which I very much appreciate. I don’t really think I can change the whole world for better, I believe that the most important thing is to help people around you as much as you can, to assist them in difficult times, to encourage and motivate, to be a warm and positive person. I also plan to engage in volunteering as here at LSE there are so many different ways in which you can help other people.

Robert F Kennedy once said “Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly”. I would like to ask Stelios if he had any big doubts during his career path and if yes how did he overcome them? How did he motivate himself to think optimistically?
