My name is Szilvia and I am from Hungary.  I graduated from LSE 2009 in BSc Accounting in Finance.  I have previously achieved a MA in International Relations and have actively been involved in the Hungarian Community in London.

I used to work for Reuters and the financial markets fascinated me.  I chose LSE because it is the most prestigious university in offering an Accounting and Finance course and I want to be a Portfolio Manager.

I feel I can make the world a better place by spending my time actively in the community I live in. e.g. Having received the Stelios Scholarship has freed up a lot of time for me which I would have spend working otherwise. With this free time on my hands I was able to revive the Hungarian Society on campus and have created a networking platform for students and professionals.

I would like to create value where I can do it the most efficient way – just as Stelios does it. This has been campus involvement.

I would ask Stelios what would be your most important advice for me as a graduate at the start of my professional life?
