This summer, Stelios and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation  joined other well-known Londoners in contributing to the Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund in the fight against poverty in London launched by the Evening Standard group in July 2010.  As Stelios himself said  " I am very pleased I was given the opportunity to help some of the neediest people in London. This is the city that I arrived as a student in 1984 at the LSE and built most of my businesses from London. Glad to be giving a little something back."
