Donation made following an 'An Evening with Stelios'Leonard Cheshire Disability, a charity which supports over 21,000 disabled people in the UK and works in 52 countries, has received a £5,000 donation from Deutsche Bank.
A cheque was today presented to the organisation by Colin Grassie, CEO of Deutsche Bank UK.
Deutsche Bank pledged the funds following a PWM event in November, entitled: an ‘Evening with Stelios’. Founder of the easyGroup companies, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, was guest speaker for the event, and Deutsche Bank agreed to make a donation to a charity of Stelios’ choice as a thank you.
John Matthews, a Deutsche Bank Senior Relationship Manager based in London, explained: “Stelios provided a fantastic start to the Business Leader Series and client feedback has been phenomenal. We are delighted to offer a donation to Stelios’ charity of choice, Leonard Cheshire Disability."
The ‘Evening with ‘Stelios’ was the first in a series of PWM Business Leader Series events. Over 60 targeted clients, prospects and senior DB execs attended the “Parkinson” style interview with the easyGroup founder. |
